Samba vs Gazelle vs Campus: Which adidas Should You Buy? | Doodle Sneaks

Quick pick: buy the adidas Samba OG for the slim, snug terrace look; buy Gazelle Indoor for suede with more give; buy Campus 00s if Samba felt tight or looked too thin. Same adidas neighborhood — three different lasts. Pick the silhouette first, then the leftover size on the page. Operated by Romsneaks LLC · roman@romsneaks.com.

This guide is the fit framework, then the authentic pairs actually listed at Doodle Sneaks. Weekly leftover edit — not a full wall. If a size is on the product page, it exists. If it is not, we do not have it. See leftover sizes · authenticity · shipping.

When to choose which

  • Samba OG — slim profile, snug last, thin gum sole on the ground. Best if your foot is average-to-narrow and you want the lowest, sleekest terrace shoe.
  • Gazelle Indoor — suede, a little more give, same indoor gum-sole feel as Samba. Start here if leather Samba felt locked-in. Gazelle Bold only if stacked height is the point — and Bold is currently sold out in this edit.
  • Campus 00s — padded tongue, roomier last, chunkier 2000s shape. Best if Samba felt tight or looked too thin on your foot.

None of these is a running shoe. None is a cushioned lifestyle trainer in the Hoka sense. You feel the floor.

Fit, profile, sole (the differences that matter)

Fit. Samba is the snuggest — narrow midfoot and toe box; leather holds shape. Gazelle is more forgiving; suede has some give. Campus 00s is the roomiest — padded tongue, rounder and taller toe box. Men's, women's, and grade-school sizing are not interchangeable. Leftover listings mean you buy the size on the page, not a full run you can swap later.

Profile. Samba OG is lowest and sleekest. Classic Gazelle sits a touch taller; Gazelle Indoor stays low; Gazelle Bold is stacked. Campus 00s is chunkiest — thick tongue, more sidewall, bulkier last.

Sole. Samba OG and Gazelle Indoor use thin gum rubber (indoor court grip, low center of gravity). Classic Gazelle is typically a bit thicker/textured. Campus 00s has a more substantial cupsole look; extra volume is mostly upper and padding, not running foam.
