What Sniff-Tested Actually Means at Doodle Sneaks
Sniff-tested is our phrase, so it's on us to say exactly what it covers. Here is the whole thing, no mystique.
Sniff-tested is a hands-on check
Before a pair gets a product page at Doodle Sneaks, someone inspects the actual shoes. We look at construction, materials, stitching, and labels. If something is off, the pair doesn't go up.
What it is not: a lab test, and not a third-party certificate. There's no machine and no paperwork from an outside grader. It's a person with the shoes in front of them, checking what you would check if the pair were sitting on your table. We sell authentic sneakers only. That's the standard, and the inspection is how we hold it. The longer version lives on our authenticity page.
The curator is a dog. The check is not a joke.
A sheepadoodle is the face of the shop and Shoes Worth Fetching is the line on the door. She is the personality. The inspection is real work, done by hand, on every pair before it's listed.
Why so many listings are one size
This is the thing people email about. Browse a few product pages and you'll see the same pattern: one size, sometimes two. Across 74 products the average listing carries about 1.9 sizes.
That's the shape of the shop. We take on leftover authentic pairs — real shoes in the sizes that were still out there — and we list exactly what we have. We don't buy full size runs, and a sold size can't be reordered. A one-pair find stays a one-pair find.
Which gives you a simple rule at Doodle Sneaks: if your size is on the page, it exists. If it isn't on the page, we don't have it. No back room, no stock we're sitting on.
What's in the shop right now
Seventy-four pairs, all authentic, priced $60 to $190. The brand mix reads like this:

It's a weekly edit, so the count and the mix move.
What to do if a pair is wrong
Inspect your order when it arrives. Try the pair on indoors, on a clean surface, before you commit to it.
- Damaged, defective, wrong item, or not authentic: email roman@romsneaks.com with your order number. We make it right at no cost to you.
- Wrong size or a change of mind: 30 days from delivery, unworn, original tags and original box. You pay return shipping.
- Either way, email first and wait for instructions. Don't ship anything back before we reply, because returns sent without a go-ahead aren't accepted.
Once we receive the pair and inspect it, the refund goes to your original payment method within 10 business days. Your bank can take longer to show it. Full terms, plus delivery timing, are on the shipping and returns page.
Shipping, since it's part of the decision
Free shipping in the continental US. Handling is typically 0–1 day. Transit is typically 3–5 days. Typical, not guaranteed — carriers slip and we're not going to pretend otherwise.
