Find their size without asking

  1. Find a pair of sneakers they wear all the time (not dress shoes or slippers).
  2. Check the size label under the tongue or printed on the insole. Note the brand too — a 10 in one brand isn’t always a 10 in another.
  3. If the label is worn off, ask someone who would know: a partner, roommate, sibling, or parent.
  4. Buy a pair listed in that exact size. If you’re unsure, email roman@romsneaks.com before ordering.

Men’s, women’s and unisex sizes (the gift-buyer trap)

Unisex listings on Doodle Sneaks show both numbers in the size name — for example, the Chuck 70 Parchment lists sizes like “M 7 / W 9.” For the same foot, the women’s number is usually higher than the men’s. Read the exact string on the product page instead of converting in your head. Converse’s own guidance is that Chucks run about a half size large — see the Chuck 70 hub. Returns: what happens if the size is wrong

From our live refund policy:

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.
  • The pair must be unworn, in the same condition it arrived, with all original tags and the original box. Try shoes on indoors on a clean surface.
  • Email roman@romsneaks.com with the order number first and wait for instructions. Pairs sent back without a return request first aren’t accepted.
  • The buyer pays return shipping.
  • Once the return is received and inspected, the refund goes to the original payment method within 10 business days.
  • Damaged, defective, or wrong item? Contact us on delivery and we’ll make it right at no cost to you.

Two honest catches. First, this is a refund, not a guaranteed size swap — with leftover stock, the other size may not exist. Second, the 30 days start at delivery, not when the gift is opened. A pair delivered in October for a December gift may be past the window by the time it’s unwrapped, so time your order. Our policies don’t list gift receipts, gift wrap, exchanges, or extended holiday returns, so don’t plan around them.

Shipping and when to order

Free shipping to the continental United States. Handling is typically 0–1 day and transit typically 3–5 days — estimates, not guarantees (shipping policy). Order with room to spare before the holiday; we don’t publish a guaranteed holiday delivery cutoff.
